There was a time in Cuba that many consider to be the golden age. A time when people rejoiced when the sun went down, and the moon rose. The music in the clubs and side alley bars would play all night long until sunrise. In the 1950’s and 1960’s, Americans called Havana, Cuba their hidden playground from the rest of the world. American men loved to go play, smoke, drink, and find the prettiest women in the world to dance the night away with. Somehow that time seemed to have faded away like the sunset. This painting takes your mind back to that time that should never be forgotten. Anyone from back then will tell you: to live one "Havana Night" was better than any dream you could ever dream.
